AlterEgo, in co-production with the Royal & Derngate, produced the second TheatreLab event at the R&D on Saturday the 26th November.  Participants included local performance artist Chris Dugrenier with her work in progress 'Dreams'; local actor Allan Taylor, with his piece 'Success & the City; local collective Essentially Eccentric Entertainment, who pitched their idea for a piece entitled 'Night at the Eeesylum; and local playwright's Helen Coope and Philippa Paget, with showings of their works in progress 'Anger Managent' (Helen Coope) and 'Shades of Grey' (Philippa Paget).

Around 50 audience members turned up and had the chance to input into the ongoing development of each piece during the Q&A session at the end.

She Stoops to Conquer

AlterEgo have just finished the first leg of their tour as part of Northants Touring Arts Rural & Community Touring Scheme.  The scheme is managed by East Midlands based New Perspectives Theatre Company and is funded by the Arts Council of England.  AlterEgo's production of Oliver Goldsmith's 'She Stoops to Conquer' will conitnue to tour to a number of venues throughout early 2012.
